K-On! Café to Open to Celebrate Film Release

Tokyo's United Cinemas' to host K-ON!-themed café with tea, chocolate

To commemorate the theatrical release of the K-ON! film, the United Cinemas movie theater in Toyosu, Tokyo is hosting a K-ON! café in its café and bar lounge. The café will open on November 19.
The café will sell the following drink sets for 850 yen (about US$11) each:
  • Yui's Light and Airy Vanilla Tea
  • Mio's Slightly Bitter English Caramel Tea
  • Ritsu's Full of Energy Ripe Mango Oolong Tea
  • Tsumugi's Calm Peach Melba Tea
  • Azusa's Reliable Apricot Tea
Included in the set is a piece of chocolate patterned with an image of one of the five main characters (pictured at right) and a coaster. The interior of the café will also be decorated in panels showing scenes from the film, and K-ON! merchandise will also be on display.
The K-ON! film will open in over 130 theaters in Japan on December 3. It will depict the five female members of Sakuragaoka High School's light music club in a story not seen in the television series.
